International Association for Internal Medicine (IAIM)

Founded in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2007, IAIM is an independent international academic association dedicated to advancing internal medicine, clinical research, medical education and evidence-based patient care.

ICIMR is IAIM’s flagship annual scientific meeting. The fourth edition, ICIMR 2026, will take place in Rome, Italy, on 27–28 August 2026.

The International Association for Internal Medicine (IAIM) is an independent international non-profit academic and professional organisation dedicated to advancing internal medicine, professional education, scientific research and evidence-based clinical practice.

About ICIMR 2026

The 4th International Conference on Internal Medicine and Medical Research (ICIMR 2026) is convened and organised by the International Association for Internal Medicine (IAIM) as part of the Association’s international academic programme.

The Conference represents the fourth edition of IAIM’s flagship annual scientific meeting and will take place in Rome, Italy, on 27–28 August 2026.

ICIMR 2026 will bring together internists, physicians from related specialties, clinical researchers, medical educators, healthcare leaders and early-career professionals for keynote lectures, scientific sessions, original research presentations, clinical case discussions and international professional exchange.

Building on the dialogue developed through its preceding editions, ICIMR 2026 will provide an international forum for sharing evidence, examining developments in contemporary internal medicine and strengthening collaboration across countries, medical disciplines and healthcare systems.
