Professional surgical societies play an important role in advancing clinical education, supporting research and encouraging the responsible development of surgical practice. By connecting specialists across institutions and national healthcare systems, these organizations help create opportunities for scientific exchange, professional development and multidisciplinary collaboration.

ICSICE 2026 is designed to encourage dialogue among surgical communities in Europe, North America, the Nordic region and the wider international community. The Congress will bring together complementary perspectives in evidence-based practice, clinical research, surgical technology, education, patient safety and quality improvement.

Through its scientific programme, abstract presentations and professional discussions, the Congress aims to provide an environment in which new evidence can be evaluated, clinical experience can be shared and potential research collaborations can be developed. Particular attention will be given to the responsible translation of innovation into safe, effective and patient-centred surgical care.

ICSICE 2026 is organized in academic collaboration with ESFC, NACSN and NFSI. Together, these organizations support scientific exchange, professional education and international collaboration across surgical disciplines.

About ICSICE 2026

The 7th International Congress on Surgical Innovation and Clinical Excellence (ICSICE 2026) is convened and organised by the International Association for Surgical Innovation and Clinical Excellence (IASICE) as part of the Association's international academic programme.

The Congress will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 26-27 August 2026. It will bring together surgeons, clinical researchers, medical educators, perioperative specialists, healthcare leaders and related professionals for keynote lectures, scientific sessions, original research presentations, clinical case discussions and international professional exchange.

Building on the scientific dialogue developed through its preceding editions, ICSICE 2026 will provide an international forum for examining emerging evidence, sharing clinical experience and evaluating innovations that may contribute to safer, more effective and more patient-centred surgical care.
